Economy.
The river is red,
not with fury—
with life.
It moves because it is given.
It gives because it is spent.
The shepherd steps in first—
not to cross, but to fill.
The current deepens.
The cost becomes clear.
Life is in the blood.
And the blood, a torrent.
The sheep come after—
not to add, but to follow.
Some wade, some are carried.
All must enter.
The old life loosens.
The body learns surrender.
What is kept is lost.
What is given remains.
He bleeds for the world.
We drown—
buried with Him,
into the likeness of His death.
The Shepherd lays down His life
for the sheep—
and the sheep, in turn.
This is the economy:
Life.
You lose it
or
you lose it.
