HELPER (Kelly’s Song)
A Coupling, 2

Silence settles over the garden as the human sleeps,
consciousness suspended between one breath and the next,
waiting without knowing what gift is forming in the quiet.

Earth. Bone. Blood. Breath.
Shape in Shaper’s hands.
Warmth woven, strength softened, beauty breathed.

She stands, a reflection answering a reflection.
She approaches, bearing presence, bringing peace.
The ache finds its echo. The longing, its language.

Two lives meet, two hearts awakened by the same voice.
In knowing and being known, the Image gleams in fullness.

Here is your wife
Life.
